£35000 investment

Thanks to a £35000 investment we have been able to further improve the experience for residents living at our Longlands care home in Middlesbrough.

We recently carried out a full window replacement at the 43-bedroom home on Longlands Road.

This involved the fitting of new double glazing throughout the home, and forms part of a continuous investment programme by Constantia Healthcare.

In the next phase of work, in the new year, all the doors in the home will be replaced.

Julie Wood, Constantia Healthcare Regional Manager, said: “Whilst it would be an understatement to say the last 18 months have been difficult due to the pandemic, we have never wavered in our approach to ensuring the residents living at Longlands have the best quality of life possible.

“One of the ways we can do this is by continually investing in the home, and installing the new double glazing is a good example.

“It has made the residents’ rooms and other communal areas warmer and even more attractive, and we are certainly not stopping there.

“There will be a full internal door replacement in 2022, as well as other planned work which will further improve the home.”
