Manager of Lilibet Manor

Shaun Morrissy will be putting his 30 years-plus experience in the health and social care sector to good use in his new role as manager of Lilibet Manor care home.

The 55-year-old is the new registered manager of our home in Crawshawbooth, Rossendale, Lancashire.

He has joined Lilibet Manor with a remit to continue further improving the quality of care at the 50-bedroom home, which provides nursing and residential care, as well as specialist care for people with complex needs.

One of his first roles will be to oversee an extensive refurbishment to Lilibet Manor, including the Grade 2* listed building which was once the mansion of local quarry owner John Brooks, (later to become Lord Crawshaw) who erected it in 1830.

A qualified nurse, Shaun has worked for some of the sector’s largest companies, including Ashbourne Healthcare, European Care and Bupa, during his career. Before joining Constantia Healthcare, he was Regional Peripatetic Support Manager at Kingsley Healthcare Group.

Shaun says: “I am pleased to have taken the role of manager at Lilibet Manor and am looking forward to working with the wider group and my staff team to continue to move the service forward, taking it from strength to strength under my leadership.

“With the various enhancing changes taking place at the home, it’s a very exciting time to be here and ultimately, my whole focus is on further improving the quality of care for our residents, as well as building on the relationships we hold dear with families; creating links in the local community and integrating our residents to build meaningful relationships.”

Constantia Healthcare acquired Lilibet Manor in January 2022, taking the number of homes we own and operate to four. The others are Queen’s Lodge Nursing Home in Blackburn and Roseleigh and Longlands Care Homes, both in Middlesbrough.

Emily Whitehurst, Constantia Healthcare Chief Operating Officer, said: “We are delighted to have been able to attract someone of Shaun’s calibre to Lilibet Manor.

“His skills and experience will ensure he plays a leading role in the development of this important service.”
