Paul Stainsby says coming to live at Longlands was the best thing that could have happened to his mum Judith.

Following the sudden death of her husband Tony, with whom she was married for a happy 58 years, Paul says it was clear that Judith needed specialist support.

He explains: “Even when dad was alive, they both struggled at home. particularly over the 18 months of the pandemic, so we discussed the options with her, and mum accepted going to Longlands would be best.

“She agrees it’s the best thing that has happened to her.

“She has made friends and became a real social butterfly, taking part in activities such as art and baking and doing the Mr Motivator exercises.

“The manager Tina and her staff have made her feel at home from day one and they are so caring.

“Coming to Longlands has put a real spring in mum’s step and my wife Janet and I are overwhelmed by how good the home is.

“It’s first class.”
