Where People Matter
Constantia Healthcare is a small, family-owned care group with homes in the Tees Valley and Lancashire. Our homely, family-run residential care homes in Middlesbrough and Blackburn are all tailored around meeting the specific needs of the people who matter the most – our residents.
We are an Equal Opportunities employer and welcome people from all backgrounds to work for us, or live in our homes, including those from the LGBTQ community.
Why choose our homes?
There are a number of reasons why we believe our care homes are different than others, but before you make a decision on the right care setting for your loved one, please do not hesitate to contact us as we are more than happy to advise you on what to look for when considering residential care, whether you choose us, or not.
- Our Middlesbrough homes both have a 5-star council rating
- Our care is tailored around the individual needs of residents
- Our staff are long-serving, providing continuity of care
- Our homes do not charge any top-up fees
- Our homes follow Covid-19 secure guidelines
Mind, Body & Soul
Our activity programme changes on a daily basis and we are consistently thinking outside the box, so as well as traditional activities such as bingo, arts and crafts and chair exercises, you are just as likely to see our residents playing a game of life size Hungry Hippos or ‘betting’ at one of our virtual race nights.
- Activities for the mind
- Activities for the body
- Activities for the soul
- Activities tailored to meet individual needs
What our families say
At the end of the day, we are only good as the care we provide and that’s why we encourage our residents and their families to let us know what they think of our homes.
“It was like we had wound the clock back ten years. She was happy, chatty and full of the joys of spring and we couldn’t believe the difference it had made on mum’s health and well-being. Words fail me, other than unbelievable.
“Mum is a new woman since going there and treats it like a hotel, which is fabulous as that’s what we wanted for her. This is all down to the amazing staff and the fantastic care they provide; we couldn’t be happier with Longlands.”
