We are pleased to announce that the vast majority of residents and staff in our two Middlesbrough care homes have received their second Covid-19 vaccinations.
Over 90% have now had both vaccinations and we expect this to be at 100% very shortly,
This will give everyone who lives and works in the home even more protection from Covid-19,.
Whilst we will still need to follow Government guidance around Covid-19, it provides our residents, staff and families with some more freedom and more importantly peace of mind.
With visits that enable families to hold hands with their loved ones now happening at both Roseleigh and Longlands, it also hopefully means that at some point soon, as part of the continued Government recovery roadmap, we can welcome even more people back to both homes and do the things we used to take for granted, like being able to kiss and cuddle your loved one.
Please remember that families can still also see their loved ones via the safe visitor pods in both homes, which enables more people from a family to see and speak to their loved ones.
The health and wellbeing of our residents and staff at Roseleigh and Longlands remains our number one priority at all times.
