Inside the home, there are three comfortable lounges along with a conservatory which overlook our pleasant enclosed gardens complete with established plants and shrubs and even our own apple tree, two dining rooms serving fresh home-cooked food, hairdressing salon and ample parking for visitors.
We also offer a personal laundry service for all residents and as well as a hairdresser who attends weekly, we also have regular visits from an optician, dentist and chiropodist.

Each day is different, but activities include bingo, dominoes, reminiscence, arts and crafts, exercise classes, race nights evenings, pamper nights, coffee mornings and outings to local markets and shops and also local places of interest. We also encourage visits from local entertainers, such as choirs, singers, and groups.
Longlands is situated in the heart of Middlesbrough, close to the town centre and within walking distance from local shops and amenities. We have ample parking for visitors and are on several main bus routes.
It’s great that I can bring his dog Molly in to see him. Deep down I know he likes life at Longlands. They take photos of the various activities and I can tell from the smile on his face. That says it all.
Lucy Richardson, Grand-daughter
They take an interest in the residents and get to know them as individuals, treat them as if they are people not just a number.
Ann Dawson, Daughter
She is a new woman since going there and treats it like a hotel, which is fabulous as that’s what we wanted for her. This is all down to the amazing staff and the fantastic care they provide; we couldn’t be happier with Longlands
Sally Cowley, Daughter
I know Barry is in the right place. He is safe and happy and receiving the very best care. There’s nowhere better than Roseleigh and the best compliment I can give is that I would be more than happy to book a room there for myself!
Denise McQuade, Wife
I am very comfortable at Longlands. Everyone is so friendly, and it has a real homely feel to it.
Shirley Donachie, Resident
Coming to Longlands has put a real spring in mum’s step and my wife Janet and I are overwhelmed by how good the home is.
Paul Stainsby, Son
The staff are brilliant, and nothing is too much trouble for them. They know I love mini-Battenberg cakes and Kit-Kats and they buy me them when they pop out to the shop.
Nancy Young, Resident
It really is like a load has been taken off our shoulders to know dad is safe and if he does fall or anything happens there will be someone there to help him.
