Riverside Men’s Community
Our brand-new Men’s Community at Riverside Meadow has been created to offer men a welcoming environment where they can enjoy companionship, shared interests and a genuine sense of belonging.
We recognise that everyone experiences care differently. For some men, being surrounded by other men with similar interests, experiences and routines can help friendships develop naturally and make everyday life more enjoyable.
Whether it’s a competitive game of dominoes, watching sport, enjoying a cup of tea and a conversation or taking part in an activity together, our focus is on creating opportunities for genuine connections.
At the same time, every resident has their own private space and receives care tailored around their individual needs, preferences and routines.

We have in-house Occupational Therapists, Psychology Support, Positive Behaviour Support, Physiotherapists and Speech and Language Therapists.
Working alongside our care and wellbeing teams, our specialists help us take a more rounded approach to each person’s physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing.
Familiar Spaces
Moving into a care home can be a significant change, particularly for someone living with dementia.
Our Familiar Spaces Project is designed to make that transition feel a little easier.
We can recreate elements of a resident’s bedroom from home, incorporating familiar layouts, furniture, belongings and personal touches.
We can even photograph the view from their previous bedroom window and turn it into a bespoke wall canvas – helping residents wake up to a view that feels familiar.
Inclusive Packages

Our private inclusive packages have been created to make life at Riverside Meadow as enjoyable and straightforward as possible.
Alongside personalised care, packages can include additional services and experiences such as personal grooming, family dining and therapeutic and holistic treatments.
It means families can have greater clarity over what is included while residents can enjoy more of the things that make everyday life special.

Riverside Meadow has a highly qualified, long-serving staff team who are committed to providing unrivalled person-centred care, ensuring our residents are safe, happy and comfortable in the home at all times.
Our Activity Programme
Our Wellbeing Team organise a weekly schedule of pastimes and entertainment to keep life fun and engaging for everyone. Each day is different, but activities can range from simple pleasures such as reading the morning newspaper or going for a walk in our grounds, through to arts and crafts, exercise classes, bingo, pamper sessions and live entertainment – the list really is endless!
We encourage participation in our activities, while remaining respectful and reflective of the overall wellbeing and interests of each person living with us. Ultimately, it’s down to personal choice.

Riverside Meadow is situated in the heart of the community in Netherfields, a suburb of Middlesbrough. It is surrounded by various local amenities, including shops, and a bus stop is outside the home, making it easily accessible to visitors.
