Roseleigh is split over two floors, with the second floor allocated to residents with dementia/alzheimer’s who require more specialist support, such as help with meals, personal care, and medications. This floor includes themed corridors designed to stimulate the senses.
All of our rooms are en-suite and decorated to a high standard. We encourage residents to bring their own furnishings to make their room feel as homely as possible.
There are two large, comfortable lounges in the home, along with a smaller lounge which is ideal for residents to meet with family members or just have some quiet, personal time away from their room.
In addition, we have three dining rooms serving fresh home cooked food, a garden room and a beautiful spacious, enclosed garden with established plants and shrubs, hairdressing salon and ample parking for visitors.
We also offer a personal laundry service for all residents and as well as a hairdresser who attends weekly, we also have regular visits from an optician, dentist and chiropodist.
Our unique, inclusive care packages, for private fee payers, offer everything from personal grooming and family dining events to therapeutic and holistic treatments. We also have a Resident Loan Fund which enables residents to keep a small personal float in the home so they can make small purchases without the worry of carrying cash.
Our Familiar Spaces project helps people living with dementia by replicating the layout and décor of their bedroom from home so their new space feels instantly familiar. We even take a photograph of the view from their old bedroom window and create a custom wall canvas so they can wake up to the same view they’ve known for years.
We also understand how important it is to feel connected to family and friends and that’s why we have a family WhatsApp group and a monthly newsletter tailored specifically to each resident.

Our Wellbeing Team organise a weekly schedule of pastimes and entertainment to keep life fun and engaging for everyone. We encourage participation in our activities, while remaining respectful and reflective of the overall wellbeing and interests of each person living with us. Ultimately, it’s down to personal choice.
Roseleigh is situated in a quiet part of Middlesbrough, close to the town centre and accessed from one of the town’s historic cobbled streets. We have ample parking for visitors and bus routes on the doorstep.
Roseleigh is the best place I have ever lived in. I enjoy taking part in activities and it’s the first time in my life that I have been truly happy.

Norman, Resident
Great staff who provide a caring environment. Staff are very attentive to the needs of the residents and know each resident’s characteristics. Communication with the management is good.
